We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle information.
Information We Collect
Microphone Access
- The App uses your device's microphone to listen for clap, whistle, or other sound patterns to trigger an alarm that helps you locate your phone.
- All audio detection and processing is performed entirely on your device in real-time.
- We do not record, store, upload, or transmit any audio data to any external servers.
- Audio input is analyzed only for amplitude levels to detect trigger sounds and is immediately discarded after processing.
Bluetooth Scanning
- The App uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to scan for nearby wireless devices such as headphones, earbuds, speakers, and other accessories.
- All Bluetooth scanning is performed entirely on your device.
- We do not upload, transmit, or store information about discovered Bluetooth devices on any external servers.
- Device names and signal strength data are displayed to you on your device and are not transmitted to any third parties.
Alarm and Flashlight
- The App can play loud alarm sounds, activate your device's flashlight as a strobe, and trigger vibration to help you locate your phone.
- These features operate entirely on your device using built-in hardware capabilities.
- No data is collected or transmitted in connection with these features.
App Preferences
Your app settings (such as sensitivity level, selected alarm sound, flash and vibration preferences, and dark mode preference) are stored locally on your device.
Information We Do NOT Collect
Find My Lost Phone: Device Finder does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal identification information (name, email, address)
- Audio recordings or voice data
- Location data
- Device identifiers
- Analytics or usage data

Third-Party Services
Find My Lost Phone: Device Finder does not use any third-party analytics tools or tracking services. The app may display advertisements through Google AdMob for free users. AdMob may collect certain device information as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience.
Children's Privacy
Find My Lost Phone: Device Finder does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The app is a general utility tool that does not require any personal information to function.
